I felt even worse for him that everyone ran away and he’s there in pain all alone. I guess it’s some sort of visceral recoil factor that caused everyone to back away. Even someone who looked like a trainer hesitated to come over once they saw the extent of the injury.

The teachers reported welts, bruises and broken skin.  What would you consider an “injury”?

Also put yourself in the place of the teachers who have to do that.  My god.  Even knowing that you have to make that choice is enough to traumatize someone.

Yeah, the fact that the players and coaches felt they needed to restrain him is what took it over the edge for me.  If it’s just theater, wouldn’t the people who know him and play and practice with him everyday know this and not restrain him?  They obviously felt the need to intervene so what did they expect would

What were the “personal reasons”?

I’d never heard of debarking.  I can’t believe people do this for non health related reasons.

OMG, I just posted this above.  I saw it with my mom and grandmom. Awkward to say the least.

I made them rent the Crying Game. I’d heard it was good, if controversial, but had no idea what it was really about. Saw that one with my mom and grandmom.

That’s what I’ve often thought about homophobic men.  They’re seeing it from the inside (from themselves and friends like them) and know how bad they are.

That rationale makes him looks worse than just admitting he got scammed.

I didn’t know they would actually kill him off!!  Wow.  I have seen a few episodes of this show so know some plot points, but I don’t watch religiously.

Her mother’s skintone is relevant in the show because there are many mentions that she is lightskinned throughout the episodes.  This casting is just weird given that.

She was using the name before Blue Ivy was born.

The wedding planner may have branded merchandise using the name, and Beyonce and JayZ probably filed for similar merchandise.  If she’s going to bridal shows or other trade shows, she has to promote her business and if she’s been using the mark already, she has a prior claim.

Yes!  When she was describing it, it was like she was recalling fond memories of an old boyfriend.  Horrible.

Tyra DID make it far as a model. As noted in the article and below, she didn’t have a long career as a runway model, but she was a major commercial model who broke new ground for black models.  And she did that for years.

LOL.

California enacted the death penalty in 1978.

The Abducted in Plain Sight family or Aaliyah’s family?  Your comment can mean either one here.

Ack!  I played myself!  It all comes full circle.
