I recently weaned my two year old, and this brought tears to my eyes. Breastfeeding can be such an emotional thing for the mother, her family and random strangers. I actually received a lot of positive comments from women of color when I breastfed in public. Many older women wanted to talk all about it and expressed

I love Lois Duncan! Sometime in the early 2000s she sold autographed first editions of some of her books! I don’t remember how I found out she was doing this, but we had a nice email exchange. I bought Daughters of Eve, and it’s one of my prized possessions. I still love reading psychological thrillers to this day,

But they always have some wig glue showing around her temple/hairline. Sloppy.

Did these parents not pay attention to who Olivia Pope is before they started the blackmail? She will ruin them.

God, yes. How many times can he go through this. Why does he even bother saying no if he's just going to cave?

Given CNN's recent history with the facts I'm hoping they are wrong again.

It's from Snow White and the Huntsman, and that is Kristen Stewart.

The problem with his email is that he is ASSUMING that because a woman is the heroic main character of a movie (in this case, Snow White) the man is being portrayed as "lesser in courage strength and power than the female" and as "lesser versions or shadows of females".

The irony here is that Snow White, as bad as it was, is not a woman = alpha, man = beta movie. There are MORE men who show heroism and badassery in this movie than women; a woman just happens to be the main badass character.

So the two sweet old people decide to grow their glaucoma medication in plain sight and then feign ignorance when caught? Brilliant!

So this bar just put liquid nitrogen in drinks and served them to people?! Crazy.

The poster is not looking down on people who look a certain way. The point is that these accoutrements (to borrow a term used by another poster) are not the physical features of an attractive person. They are things a person does to cater to what is considered hot in this society.

I don't have any suggestions for you, but I LOVE Animal Crossing! I haven't played in a while, but this is making me want to get back into it.

If I were Christina Hendricks I'd ban questions about my body, my breasts, my weight, etc too. In every interview I've read with her there always seems to be at least one question about how she doesn't fit the mold and how she's an inspiration and her curvy figure, etc. She plays an interesting and complex character

This sounds like insurance fraud, and I'm surprised the insurance company was not more on top of this since the clinic is billing them. The author should call them again and explain that she suspects insurance/billing fraud.

I agree. They were classic in the past, but they so often look cheap to me. This is especially the case when people with very long nails get them.

Pre-teens LOVE Pink. I'm not sure if that line will be featured at the fashion show, but Pre-teens definitely like VS.

You could try to make the decorations actually informative instead of just decoration. Put out pamphlets about breast health, where to get mammograms, organizations that do good work in the area, how to choose where to donate, etc.

I am grandma in the knee highs! I can't stand being cold. Oh well.
