i have always felt weird about gamers treating these companies like they are real people. like they are BFFs that they can trust. we are dealing with business infrastructure, policy decisions, licensing agreements, EULAs, TOSs, etc... not exactly the kind of thing one dwells on when it comes to 'trusting' someone.

You're wrong on that. Twitter is aggregated news at its fastest and simplest, and if you understand how to use it properly, it is extremely powerful and helpful. If I see any report about a major event, the first place I check is Twitter.

Having never played any game past Crystal, I don't know any pokemon past 251. Even though these drawings are crude, I see a TON of rehashed designs. Is it the drawings that make it seem this way? Or are new pokemon just mainly rehashes of the originals?
