That backfired on me years ago. My response was "recursion". His next question was: "how would you write a factorial function with recursion?" I managed to answer it, but geez!

- The Brewing Network: Sunday Session, Brew Strong, Can you Brew It, and Lunch Meet. The Brewing Network podcasts are very funny yet very informative.
They don't let you take pictures of checks instead of mailing them. So I take the pictures with PayPal's app, then I transfer to Fidelity from there.
My online bank (Fidelity) doesn't have a cool smartphone app to let me take pictures of paper checks. So I use PayPal to do that (works great, by the way). I don't think any of the above services let you do that. So I'll stick with PayPal...for now.
Yeah, I'm sure this will go viral like that other restaurant app, What's The Wait. Yeah..that went far. [whatsthewait.mobi] :/
I used to do the same thing with a drier sheet and baking soda in my gym bag. Worked great till it ruptured. This probably works better in shoes. :)
Darn..sure wish I knew these things existed when I lived in my last carpeted house. Thanks for nothing, Lifehacker ;).
I don't think I'll ever break even with homebrewing, nor do I care to. The cost of my orders from MoreBeer.com have been increasing. Its an evolving hobby...Start with extract, upgrade to all grain, then temp controlled fermentation, then a HERMS system, counterflow chiller, pumps, 5L yeast starters (flask and stir…
I second that. Having 3 on tap right now (just cobra taps, no fancy tower system), it's way to easy to fill a glass with whatever suits my mood. But....I'm okay living with that :).
My *only* gripe with SciTE, and it's a big one, is that you have to edit all of the settings in a txt file. And every time you update SciTE, it's best to compare the new settings file (with new features) to the old one, and port over all your defaults. Bleh!
I'm a big SciTE fan myself; and I can't really remember why I concluded SciTE was better for my needs than Notepad++. I think it had to do with ease of instantly running Perl code and viewing output without using a clunky plug-in.
Not an issue at all. In fact, you want to keep your wine in contact with the cork. That's why all wine racks are sloped downward.
We store ours upside down in boxes in a cool dark closet. To track what we have, we use the Drync web site, and Drync app for iPhone (and Android I think).
I've been using www.creditkarma.com for my scores. Snooping around, there appears to also be CreditSesame. This would be an interesting comparison.
What's a phone line?
I always appreciate a Futurama reference!
This and Minimalist Gmail are by far my two favorite extensions for Chrome. Love it!
I love Rapportive. I'm going to stick with that.
I suspect a lot of people are going to gain and lose a lot of money playing investment games with bitcoins. Sounds like an unstable love child of investments in derivatives and Second Life server space (aka land).
I thought I was doing myself a favor drinking this godforsaken green tea crap on weekdays. Screw that, I'm going back to coffee! At least then I can enjoy my morning beverage.
