Camry's don't have power tilt/telescoping steering columns at any price. The only Toyotas that have power steering columns are the high end Sequoias and Land Cruisers that go for 60-80 grand. I work at a Toyota dealership so I would know.

Jalopnik readers who recommend the Kia Optima must have never driven it. It has crappy suspension and brakes, the turbo engine feels weak, and the interior is incredibly boring.

The newest one isn't floaty anymore, however, it still has horrible steering. At the Toyota dealership where I work, this Avalon is bought buy some younger people. Mostly 30-50 year olds but geriatrics aren't buying it like they bought the old one.

I have never used the feature to change the gauges from mph to kph. It's not just inset numbers. The numbers actually change scale and the dial arm changes position. I guarantee anyone in the US and never drives in Canada has used this feature.

It actually sort of is already in showrooms. The toyota dealership I work at just got one. However, there's no way in hell they're going to show it to any customers since they still have 9 old corollas just sitting on the lot. They're basically throwing them at anyone remotely interested in a car.

I've worked at a Toyota dealership as a detail specialist and service porter for two months now. Every customers prius that I've driven has been incredibly filthy inside except for one. There was a lady who worked for Homeland Security who kept hers very clean inside. Every other prius has been nasty.

I've driven both, even the FRS in manual and automatic. I still prefer the FRS, even with an automatic. It feels special at any speed while the Focus ST feels like a fast Focus. I'd actually choose an automatic FRS instead of a manual because it's more comfortable for me for an extended period of time.

You just don't get it.
