I think it's because the BBC is funded by every Briton while MSNBC, Fox News, etc. are for-profit companies so they cater to different demographics. NPR is funded by everyone so they do a pretty good job of just reporting the facts or having both sides to an argument represented.

How much does adrenaline mixed with alcohol affect your drunkenness? I've had quite a few drinks by myself on occasion because I like the taste but didn't show signs of stereotypical drunkenness. When at parties, I sometimes would be more outgoing and loud than I usually am but I hadn't had as much alcohol.

Try the standard seats. They're the same as in the regular Focus.

How tall are you? I'm 6'5" and well over 300 lbs. and I fit pretty well in the Focus ST. If I were to buy one, I'd probably skip the recaro seats but I can sit in them reasonably well. The Fiesta however is too small for me to use a clutch pedal. I have the same problem in the Scion FRS.
