There should be more informative articles like this. Too many times a game with such hype around it, that I have no idea why. For instance, that majoras mask zelda thing, everyone is going crazy over that. Wth is with that?

you should read the in game journal that's constantly being updated throughout the game. It explains a lot. You got to cmmit to this game, once you understand what's going on, it's far more intriguing.
ummm Dark souls???
Regarding the story parts, even though CD Projekt, always said you can play the games without previous knowledge, and while its true to some extent, you would enjoy the game 90% more if you had already played the previous games, so you already know who is who and why the world is in the state its in.
I remember hearing about this book when HL2 came out and it was the stuff of legends. I never found out where to get it so i missed out.
I'm a huge GOT fan and TT fan, but I didnt like the GOT first episode. Since it's mainly for fans, the game was too predictable and stupid. It's not TT's fault, it's just the world they have set their game in.
Guess I'm not really much of an anime fan, since I have only ever watched ONE anime series all the way through, though I always watch a bunch of anime movies.
who said I expect so much from it? I couldn't care less if it's crap. It should just come out so it can conclude the damn story.
Can someone offer Gaben $5 billion dollars so he can get off his ass and give the half-life IP to someone else, at this point anyone else would be be better than Valve at making the next half life. They have been stumped for almost a decade, and they're too pretentious to give any updates on what's going on in their…
the difficulty can definitely get annoying, as most of the difficulty comes from the tedium of going through the same enemies again and again just to get to a boss.
well if your a person who just went through the game, who didn't give a shit about the deep cryptic lore or the beautiful art style, I can MAYBE see why. But the amount of significance that one place had in grand scheme of things gives me chills. It's where everything began and now it's where it ends.
well good for you, since they were more common than they ever were on DS 2( also I only started playing the first one about the same time the second one was released, so user base most likely went down).
Any level from the Dark Souls games please. I don't know if he plays those games, but I would love to see him talk about it. Any article on the internet that talks about DS games on a deeper level rather than the dime a dozen "ooh look how hard and frustrating this is!!" is always a gem for me to read.
I also agree, the online system in the dark souls games is one of the most unique and interesting systems I've experienced in games. Nevertheless, if they took out invasions, I wouldn't miss it.
being hollow doesn't stop invasions anymore.... so your betting off being human so you can summon help.
Was mostly talking about DS 2, so that feature is nonexistent in this game.
Ha, that would be a great feeling if I ever felt that, since I NEVER win against an invader. I mean I'm not a bad DS 2 player, cos I'm an awesome SunBro, but man I always feel like a noob every time an invader attacks with a move set i have never seen before.
nope, you can get invaded while hollow now, you have to burn effigies (humanity in DS 2) to cut off connection from other players, so no invasions but also no co-op. And effigies are more rare than humanity was
I was talking about DrkS 2, guess I should have made that clear.
How about no tension thank you very much, DrkS can be frustrating enough as it is.
