They did say that, and their idiots for it, because this damn thing is gorgeous. MAKE THE ASTERION

If you’ve owned cars with a VQ37VHR motor and the N55/B58, you’d know peak horsepower numbers only tell half the story. There is so much more power all throughout the rev range.

Yeah, but after they said they would never build hybrids, they didn’t proclaim ‘believe me’. That’s how you know someone is telling the truth - they end with ‘believe me’.

Well, there was a pretty famous 4-cylinder Supra....

The lower-powered version uses the BMW B48B20 turbocharged four-cylinder engine displacing two liters and producing 262 horsepower, while the high-power version will use the single-turbo inline-six B58B30 BMW engine and will produce 335 horsepower, according to the document.

Isn’t a 4-cyl Supra a Celica?

The way I understand it with the C6 and C7 corvettes is there are certain mounts for parts of the frame that if they get damaged are unrepairable.  I’d bet thats what happened here.

If you were the insurance adjuster, would you really want to spend all that money to repair the car, only to hand that car back to the owner who couldn’t make it to the nearest gas station to get it’s first fill up of premium without wrecking it?

The love stems from the reality that Teslas make conventional competition feel like lawn tractors. Going from a Range Rover and a BMW and into a Model X, I know what kind of “luxury” is important to me, and what is unimportant fluff. Plus, Teslas offer a level of performance that are usable every day. The

Yeah, I’m a bit puzzled by the “crow” comment, too.

I drove a P100D a few years back and the fit and finish left a bit to be desired as well. It’s only a “luxury” are because people are willing to spend $100k+ on one of the things.

It was also horrifically numb so far as driver feedback goes. Yeah, yeah, it accelerates fast, doesn’t have a lot of body roll, turn in was

He’s impressed by the fact that it seems profitable and has some neat electronics. He also thinks it has shitty ‘90s Kia build quality. He’s not “eating crow” about the quality, he’s just saying they managed to make it profitable. It’s still poorly made.

You can have a manual transmission version that will have a 0% take rate because the 180 year olds who buy this don’t want to drive manual.

Keep the NA V8, maybe get it to around 500hp with minor tweaks, give it a lighter exhaust that’s more open (or active) so we can really hear it...yes, fix the infotainment garbage that Lexus has these days...slightly better/lightweight wheels with PS4's...don’t muck with ride comfort, so same suspension...and yes,

The DC area has to be the world capitol of rich douchebags with tons of cash and zero driving skills.

How could people like that ever get car insurance?

i worked at a mazda dealership body shop, and we had one 626 customer who would on a weekly basis for a month, wreck the car and bring it back for repairs; she finally totaled it leaving the shop parking lot, when she got t-boned. does this count?

Wait; so they bought a brand-new Viper, totalled it, then came back and bought another one?

A friend sold Viper’s at a Dodge dealership, same thing. People would order their new Viper, take delivery, 2-3 days later call and ask about getting another one as they had already totaled it.

I see you have found the joke.
