It’s actually perfect. The price is $300+ for an NES Classic but you can get a Switch for $300, play all the games on the classic and brand new Switch games. Great marketing on their part especially with every news agency talking about it in their tech sections.

At this point, it’s not about actually using it. It’s more that it’s a collector’s item. Anyone can emulate these on their phone (and computer but few people know how to) but they still want this because it’s a limited Nintendo item. And this is the power of brand recognition.

Have we come to an age in gaming were “almost as well” isn’t looked down upon.

For me it was Blaze that I needed. I know I can farm grazers for that but it takes time to do that and I just want to move onto the next mission.

I can’t be the only one whose skin itches whenever they see glitches like this in games.

And until your GCU membership is up, it’ll last until than.

Good on them for still supporting this game despite majority of people giving up on it.

Just picked up a copy from BestBuy, no pre-order.

That’s what my local BB looked like. They had plenty of everything though except for SE / ME or Pro Controllers.

And here I am with my 3 pre-orders (for family, don’t worry) just waiting to leave and pick it up. Sucks for others though since every Gamestop in my area has a sign on there door that says 0 quantity of both editions.

Got Tearaway Unfolded last month. Its an ok game but I end up being sleeping after 30 minutes of playing. Game just isnt engaging or interesting despite being a beautiful game. Sucks, I had high hopes for a MediaMolecule game.

Thanks! I bought 3 just because.

Most of those Pokemon look like they are asking us to kill them, some of them (Charizard, Gyrados, Bulbasaur) actually look good.

Because videogames and politics never mingle right? If you don’t want to read relevant gaming articles, don’t click the article.

This is the thing people don’t understand. They saw, “oh, it’s only for a few months, it’s ok”. What do you think is going to happen after 3 months? Currently people who are legally able to get into America from those countries aren’t able to come back. People who managed to get to the U.S. when it started were turned

Can we start boycotting Gamestop for these practices (which appear to be new but in reality have been going on for some years now).

We really need to hit people where it hurts, their wallets. If we look back at previous attempts to change major issues with our government, it only changed after people stopped paying for services or goods. In our society it’s a bit harder to simply stop using goods but if we want change, we need to stop the money

I use to work at Gamestop as a seasonal worker and though I loved it, I hated the demands from management to essentially lie to customers in order to get sales up.

Very interested but where in NY is Kotaku located? Not that it matters, I still want to apply.

I actually love my Wii U and think it’s a wonderful console. The few games on it are great and utilize the GamePad nicely. Despite it not being a major feature of the Wii U, using the GamePad as appose to gaming on my TV has been surprisingly used majority of the time for me. I just love talking on the phone w/ my gf
