That's the thing though, is that while I feel like intellectual and emotional aspects aside, differences between the sexes are there. And I agree, we shouldn't get rid of these ideas entirely. But there is much less flexibility in our current roles, and I don't entirely believe that all men must be masculine and all

As somebody who is.. sort of? trans? Kind of? I'm not sure. I was able to grasp the idea quickly, because although I identify as a woman and am female, as a young child I was all "No I'm totes a boy." I started identifying as feminine later on, but I still hold onto my old tomboy personality. So when I learned sex and

Yes, gender and sex are two different concepts. Male, Female, Intersex = Sex, while Woman, Man, Both, Neither = Gender. Sex is what you are born with, Gender is how you identify yourself. And your sex doesn't necessarily determine your gender. So when people say "I identify as woman, so I am woman", they're talking

Sex and Gender are two different things. This is a well established scientific fact. Right now you're talking about Sex, while we're talking about Gender. Your sex does not always determine your gender.

You should follow the gender of someone then. Their biology may be male but gender identity is more important.

The way I see it is that in English, we have several words to use. In my mind, they work as such:

Female, Male, Intersex = Sex. Use these words when talking about the physical biology of a person, like the genitals or the phenotype.

Man, Woman, Neither, Both = Gender. Use these words when talking about the psychology

You're confusing gender and sex. Sex is what refers to the biology of the person, the genitals, the phenotype. Male, female, intersexed. Gender is what refers to the identity of the person, the psychology, the social aspects. Man, Woman, Neither, Both. I am biologically female, but that doesn't mean that my gender

Many of us would rather be small business owners, I think, mostly because I don't know many Millennials that would really like the corporate jobs. Too cut-throat and ruthless. Can't we just.. like have a comfortable middle class life? That seems to be the ambition of most of my peers, and myself.

I'm the same in that I think I'm more annoyable than him. But I've been with him for just under two years, and I've learned to deal with the things that annoy me. In the grand scheme of things, being mildly annoyed at him for chewing with his mouth open or trying to cuddle with me when I want to be left alone are much

Maine Coons are lovely cats. They're like little dogs, really. Except fluffier and also a cat.

WOOO! Friendly internet discussion! Thank you, I admire your optimism. I'm a pessimistic grouch.

I agree, they probably will fix stuff, but maybe my pessimism tells me that it will be a giant mess that they'll be cleaning up. No company would just let the disaster stay, and Blizzard at least was able to fix their launch issues - not so sure about Maxis though, but I haven't read up on that as much. If their

I agree, think that the Xbox could potentially reach what they want to do in the future, and I like the idea of cloud computing. It makes sense and I like the ability to move things with me - however I think there are a lot of issues with it that worry me. There are other parts of the xbox that worry me was well.

I submitted! In response to my experience that morning:

US speeds are still lagging behind freaking Latvia. Our infrastructure is old and in desperate need of a major upgrade. The xbox1 needs broadband internet to work, and that's not available across the entire country. I have a feeling that there will be quite a few families that live in rural areas will go out and buy

A terrible infrastructure, for starters. That and the US's internet speeds are a joke.

Edit: wrote reply to wrong comment.

If, for whatever reason, I was forced to join any church and UU wasn't available, I would join the Episcopalians. They seem amazing.

Also, I have to assume you've done their tour? That one was pretty fun.
