I do not believe this is only applicable to "analog" (Good description, I like it) notes. The main disadvantage is a notebook is limited to a single user. A digital version would allow me to share with multiple parties. I believe the recommendation that musicpusher provided should be able to provide my requirements.

I don't see this system as "anti-app" but more as a simplification. musicpusher made a recommendation for an app that is simple and would duplicate this system. Everytime I see someone say they start a job at 9:00AM and get off at 5:00PM all I can think is...Community College. I have never had a job that was 9-5 with paid lunch. Where are they, I keep hearing about them, but they must be like Big Foot only known to the very few who believe.
