Failure.

COZI-TV without commercials, with Klingons, and HEY did you know we have ‘Ghosts’!?”

Showtime: The Paramounted

“Nuance doesn’t apply here” is such a perfect encapsulation of Internet discourse that you ought to go out to a trophy store and buy yourself one for your mantel. Dead serious.

You obviously do, since you bothered to reply.

Well, “guilty until proven innocent” is one of those social media habits that I think is pretty shitty, so there’s that.

So the fact that he hasn’t explicitly said he’s pro-vax, but also hasn’t explicitly said he’s anti-vax, means that he’s anti-vax?

I think if Levi came out with actual anti-vax views, that’d be one thing.

They’re all terrible assholes, except Marshall. I think that was kind of the point of the show.

OK, that gives me some context. Mine is the early 1980s, when the phrase first started coming into vogue. It makes sense that by the ‘90s people had transitioned from spelling it “sike!” as a joke to spelling it that way because they didn’t know any better.

Problem is, neither one of them had a “compelling vision” for a unified trilogy.

Ah, for the good ol’ days of Dawes.

I guess the followup question is, how far back exactly is “way way back”?

I’m desperately hoping that “sike” is an intentional millennial shitpost bit and not someone who doesn’t know that the exclamation is “Psych!” as in “I just psyched you out, homie.”

I mean, “M3gan 2.0" had a whole runner about ass-eating... did it really need to get gayer?

It’d actually make sense if West Ham were doing so poorly this season in real life because Nate Shelley was the gaffer, and because Nate is an incredible tactician and strategist but godawful at handling people. My secret wish for Ted Lasso season three was that West Ham would fall on its face after a strong start

Those two eps work much better in a binge, for sure.

Sigh.

Because I’m an old, cranky bastard, I will be THAT GUY and say, derisively, that Star Trek jumped the shark when they decided to do a “Save the Whales” movie. TNG took three seasons before it became watchable, and DS9 was fine until they got Sisko a starship. The less said about Voyager and Enterprise, the better.
