@Kobun: No, Mountaine Dieu!

With the helmet, that's some fine attention to detail right there.

@MooseOfDoom23: That doesn't make it sound any less creepy, dude.

@bassrocker521: They had enough circumstantial evidence to file an SEC report. What they found may be partially fabricated, but there is still something they're standing on in defense of their actions.

@dethklokso: Nobody would rightfully say they're with Activision at this point in time, but there's plenty of us who can see that a move like terminating the heads of their most profitable company to avoid paying royalties would be worth the horrible publicity they're getting due to the actions taken.

@N-Robes: Activision isn't stupid enough to flat-out terminate the heads of their most profitable game if they didn't have any kind of footing to stand on as far as trying to avoid paying royalties.

@Mancubus: This. The whole thing is still a blurred mess and we've yet to see any evidence on the defensive side of Activision's end. Whereas the actions taken by NBC were proven, we're going off of rumours at this point in this case.

@Kobun: I don't know what's worse, having that happen, or the fact I did have an article literally over a year old where I posted that got a harsh response a few days back.

@mrpibb79: Every major corporation typically has some sort of "Ethics Hotline" (yes, laugh at the irony), it wouldn't be too difficult to have an anonymous tip from an employee at IW that would be taken seriously enough for Activision to start an internal investigation.

@LuppyLuptonium: Rest in Peace, Lou Albano, you magnificent entertainer you.

Ron Wasserman?! The Mighty RAW?! Dude, that guy's my hero!

@Jonny_eh: Exactly. Activision's defense/prosecution team sure as hell wouldn't even let it get to trial anyways.

@ChicagoRyan: Exactly...and if they contractually freely gave the option for a total buyout, then they had some of the worst lawyers on the planet negotiating that contract in the first place.

@InsidiousTuna: There's an easy way to figure it out: cross-reference it with the SEC submission and any and all prior agreed-upon contracts as far as quota agreements, the MOC, and any other options.

@deanbmmv: Agreed. Just on my first read-through of this thing, I get the feeling of "sob story" versus actual substance.
