It’s really not hard to buy a sack of potting soil and spread it across the flowerbed beside your apartment building. Take a 2-liter and water the flowerbed every so often.....the potting soil sucks up the water, and then the ants raid that.

I like diatomaceous earth it’s a nice easy product to go ham with without having to worry about it. Most of the time I end up using it for fleas (literally carpet bombing) but yeah anything with an exoskeleton it’s usually effective.

A sugar fire is not something I would want to be in the middle of.
