Thank you Adam. Great write up, and something that a lot of people can learn to do. I've missed these programming writeups on LH

Hmm I really like the quote in the lead picture. Contrary to the way I think about things sometimes. Well done.

That is an interesting idea

I apply this principle all the time. When the wife and I had to get a new bed, I told her I have no problem spending a significant amount of our savings on a high end bed, because I spend a lot of time everyday there. Same with cell phones, couches, chairs, etc. Also, I always buy the nice toilet paper. I told my wife

Im surprised they haven't made a GTA MMO yet.

restaurants that use cast iron skillets have to use at least a little soap to clean the pans. If they didn't they would likely draw the attention of health inspectors since they don't wash their pans. I have read they use a very light soap to just kill any bacteria or other baddies on the surface without deseasoning

could always use steel wool as well if the salt scrub isn't enough

If you are going to re-season it, use steel wool and scrub that sucker in the hottest water you can stand. That should really get it clean. Then I like to do a few things, either line the pan with crisco and put it in a 400+ degree oven for (if i remember correctly) a half hour ish. Or a bit more rewarding is to cook

You may be surprised to know I'm in Omaha,Nebraska. Across the river in Council Bluffs,Iowa, they are actually banned.

In my city you have to have them muzzled to be outside and leashed up. Also the owner has to have something like $250,000 worth of homeowners insurance just to be able to own one.

More Foo love from this guy. I honestly think they are the greatest band on the planet, and Dave Grohl is practically a god. I went to their concert in my town, and because of bad weather, Motorhead couldn't get out of Texas to make the show, so to make up for it the Foo did 3 hours. Amazing.

My Hero is usually the highlight of their shows. It is so awesomely epic to have the entire crowd singing the chorus. Love the Foo. Best show I've ever seen.

I too built a pc this summer for BF3.

Yes I've done this for a long time. I've even been to a Buffalo Wild Wings in my college town that put the napkins down and salted the napkins for us.

Pretty neat idea. I'm sure a lot of programmers could think of a few languages that they would like something of this sorts for. I know personally I think it would be neat to have something like this for C# and Python.

I like to diversify where my data is. I'm fine with having my phone and photos backing up to icloud, but I'll keep my contacts and mail in gmail. Easy enough to bring the 2 together.

IMO I think there is some validity to not wanting to roll the service out to too many devices at once. Over the weekend when everybody with a new 4S was playing with Siri, I had intermittent connection issues to their servers, even when on wifi. But who knows.

Im a fan of ScoreMobile. It gets score updates reasonably fast. It gives you a lot of detail for statistics, and the push notification options are nice.

I like how it is set up. It will sync up only the bits that are different at night when I plug in my phone by my bed and am not using it. But if I wanted to use it, you can because it doesn't lock up your device. I think this is the case for the majority of users. If I add something on my computer or phone that I want

This is very cool. Kudos to the cool Google employee that added the feature as well. Internet celebrities indeed.
