The bad part about the music for was that is was so easily mistaken for ambient sound in the game. Was that growly sound the music or is a tiger about to eat my ass? Was that grinding sound the music or a jeep load of pirates who are going to shoot me?

Loved it. I never noticed this "soap opera effect" that has been mentioned. It just looked super crisp and cool to me. The 3D was definitely easier on my eyes and used well throughout the film.
