I've had the same handle since the late 90's when I started on AOL that I have here. Even in those heady days I knew instinctively that being anonymous was smarter than using my real name so I chose a handle that looked like a real name but was secret code to a very few fans like myself of bronze age horror comics.

That was pretty bad! We had one of these Monday afternoon in my neighborhood in North Florida, smaller hail than seen here followed by insane wind with sideways rain that ripped the living crap out of everything for about 2 minutes. We still have a patio umbrella about 40 feet up in a tree and no idea how to get it…
