I prefer my method of "will not install Origin on my PC, or buy games that require Origin". I did sign up for Origin a long time ago for some game I bought on Xbox, but I haven't purchased any EA games in forever, simply because I don't agree with their business practices (like Origin).

Since it's through Xbox, it's not a DRM feature, so the only reason to force you to create an Origin account is to force marketing/tracking onto you.

GTAIV on the PC originally had something like four layers of DRM, including GFWL (a separate account) and the Rockstar Social Club (another account.) Could be worse.

I forgot to mention Boss Mode, in which a player can control certain things via Kinect or controller or Xbox Glass second screen! It's okay. Really helpful, I suppose, but not particularly exciting. You can play it in the bathroom though, so there is that.

Been thinking about writing an article about this. Short answer: Total number of PS system owners minus the people who don't have Plus minus the people who have Plus and just forget to download the games and then the fact that they don't technically own the games on top of that.

It's $20. Just part with it in support of the amazing product a single person made, that managed to trump and entire AAA team at EA/Maxis.
