Oh my god, you've got to. It's so much better with full sized cards. Those baby cards are terrible.

Oh my god, once we started buying them we couldn't stop. Now all the Dominion cards are in this special wooden box with dividers and the whole thing weighs like 20 pounds. Maybe one day we'll do the same with Ticket to Ride -which I think needs a Russian version something fierce.

I had no idea, as I rarely venture over to GroupThink. Thanks for letting me know!

Wouldn't that be fantastic? With reviews and lists and stuff? In Germany, board games are so big that even the newspapers review them. I wish we had something like that here.

Probably Traders and Builders or Bridges, Castles, and Bazaars. Least favorite is definitely Princess and the Dragon, as is just seems so pointless. Do you keep all your expansions with the base game to play as one big game or do you pick which expansions you play with each time?

Do you have all the expansions? Which is your favorite?

Let's just say it's more difficult than Sorry, but no, not a difficult game overall. I used it as an example of a more mainstream game that people would possibly have heard of that isn't just luck based.

Lords of Waterdeep is so fun! I was skeptical at first because it's a D&D game and was making fun of it until I realized how much fun it is. GREAT intro to worker placement games.

Eh there's only so much sex you can have, whereas the hatred of clothing is timeless.

Cosmic Encounter? You're not Tom Vasel by any chance are you?

I've seen that and it looks hilarious! The problem is it's for several players and the boyfriend and I tend to prefer two-player games because we don't want to join some awkward board gaming group. Unless you live in Nashville, at which point let's play!

Have you played Puerto Rico? It's technically for three players, but has special two player rules that THANKFULLY make sense.

Resistance is the best! I don't think it's fun unless you're screaming at each other.

I've seen T'zolkin before and will now look into it. Thanks!

That's funny that you would mention Pandemic, as it's one of those the boyfriend has been considering getting for a long time. The only thing really stopping him from taking the plunge is that's cooperative and we prefer to play against each other. That's why we didn't like Forbidden Island. We only played a couple of

Thank god! What is it with all these games for three or more people? What if you just want to sit around naked with your boyfriend, eating junk food and playing a game? There's no need for a third person.

That's two Catan references in one day. Yay board games!

Yearning for those halcyon days of Francisco Franco are you?

It was his younger brother.

Didn't Inaki lose his title though?
