I watched them on Shabekuri 007 the other night. I wondered what the bloody hell was going on.

I live in Japan. It seriously isn't just Namco just making these kinda games.
I remember the coolest controller I ever used was the Gamecube's. I dunno why but I never got sweaty palms with that.
Sweet Jesus, it just never stops. I like watching variety shows after work but because they don't have the "hold onto your ass, here comes the commercials" gap after a show like in UK you're just sat minding your business then BAM! You've been たのしなかまが rolled.
@urfe: Damn, you're lucky to be teaching at just high school. I'm at elementary and junior high - JH is fine and fun but elementary can be hell if you're not having a good day.
@Erwin: Greatest thing I've read in todays comments.
@VincentGrey: Extra shiny wet rock textures for all!
@Veit: Indeed. I would have diagnosed the Soldier with Intermittent explosive disorder (for extra pun lols), the Sniper with OCD, the Pyro with....well pyromania, and the Spy with what you have. :P
I can't wait until I finish making my own game.
I think it's got a lot to do with Japan's idea as to who can make games.
I'd say give an option for both. One of my favourite RPGs Mana Khemia had it and I sometimes flick between the two.
The thing I loved about the PSone Resident Evils were the B Movie quirks...terrible voice acting and over the top bad guys, especially Wesker.
@CosmicElement: I've played about 4-5 hours of this game and, according to the stats, I've completed 0.8% of it. Looks like it'll last a really long time (_<).
I'd find it more of an inconvenience. I lose the TV remote at the best of times, but even then I can just get up and press the buttons on the telly. Losing the goggles will be both likely and more annoying.
@Covert_Knight: We got you the most brutal gift of all. NOOOOTHIIIIIIIING!
@Pyrefly: I have to disagree. Obviously there are people who use the glitches to annoy other players, but there are genuine players who just stumble upon them by accident.
@Mozz-eyes: Not forgetting Symphony of the Night.
@Fieldy: I don't think there's that many JPRGs in general this generation. Almost all new ones are still on the PS2.
@sbongard15: The game is loosely based on the poem. I doubt the author didn't have this in mind when he was writing it.
@ninjaDance: Dante's Inferno the poem and Dante's Inferno the game are very different. Much like people can hate Independence Day the movie, and not Independence Day the holiday.
