A veteran QA tester is usually someone who has gotten tired of not being paid and went off to other industries that value quality more.

As a QA for 9 years, I must say that there are too many times that I have received a deadline before the written requirements.

If Cyberpunk 2077 was a game that was just full of bugs and broken quests and such this would make sense but the game was virtually unplayable on certain platforms. There is no way they can blame that on QA testing alone

General rule of thumb: no one with the power to enforce dates has any idea what the devs are dealing with.

I wonder how much the CEO even knows about actual testing or game development? He’s a businessman after all.

“Name a more iconic duo”

Certification process for the big 3 is basically the same: They have some people make sure it doesn’t fail some basic checks (doesn’t crash on start up, doesn’t corrupt any files, doesn’t cause problems in sleep/standby mode, etc) then they play the game for a couple of hours. Everything else, like a full playthru of

While I agree that I would love to play FO76 Offline, you are wrong that its a cash grab as the atom store has zero effect on gameplay unless you want to build a nifty base or have some cool skins. Even then, they have tons of events in the game that you get skins and base plans all the time. From Meat week, to Daily

Not entirely the same but it reminds me of a really cool moment from Bravely Default: (MASSIVE spoilers by the way) (Edit: crap I can’t spoiler tag the image I’ll just put lots of words to push it down) (spoiler image below the words push, you have been warned)

I wouldn’t even bother with 6 for the first several years after release. If it’s anything like the last game, it’ll come out half baked with content slowly dripping out over the course of years.

That Terra is amazing and it’s iconic because it’s the first 3D rendering of a Final Fantasy game’s logo art I’ve ever seen.

I’m playing this now and grew up with the originals. I’ve only played through the original trilogy so far, but I would say that it is more fun than what I remember. I prefer the level designs in this one, though finding minikits and other collectibles is a bit more challenging than it was previously. Combat does feel

Ms. Pac-Man was NEVER Pac Man’s wife - she must have been his sister. Otherwise, she would have been known as MRS. Pac-Man! Ms. Pac-Man is unmarried!

Oh god, what I would give for more of this!

This sucks. If you ever played this game single player it took *forever* to get the coins to get new courses. Playing online showered you with coins, suggesting the game was balanced to force you to participate in online activities (even if were the only one playing) . If you buy this game after the online modes are

County Password Inspector gets ‘em every time

Poison and Bridget are honestly really bad examples. Both have troubled histories and represent a lot of harmful transphobic tropes and generally aren’t considered good representation by the trans community. Ash and Beni also aren’t any form of representation, they’re just typical japanese pretty boy characters.

You thought it was a Final Fantasy game, but it was me, Dio! (field Chronicles)

if you can’t put things off in the real world for 1-3 minutes while you log out or warp somewhere, that’s the bigger issue than not being able to pause.
