That’s not true, McDonalds and its ilk pay quite a bit more in countries in Western Europe and Australia and manage to remain profitable. They refuse to pay a living wage here because our government doesn’t respect work and is willing to subsidize sub-subsistence wages by allowing the people who do this work to end up…
