Wouldn’t be the first time a DMCA takedown has been misused.

I’m talking specifically about money being involved. There’s a difference between asking money to continue working on an emulator and asking money to continue working on an emulator using the Persona IP to draw people in.
The fact that both can be argued is probably the reason why the DMCA takedown was issued, specifically when money is involved.
Based on the article it seems that it can be argued that the Persona IP was used to get patreon money by showing the progress in emulating that particular game.
That just means that the “optional” microtransactions will be “optional”.
I “love” it when companies promote their new game by insinuating their last one was a piece of shit.
superior???
Promotion to sheriff?
It’s probably exactly that.
Have you even seen FMA?
The Speed Racer movie is WAY better than the original.
lol I got the same feeling when playing FFX.
Hate how local co-op forces you to replay the same levels and difficulty per each character, we were never able to fully unlock the last difficulty before losing interest.
If they had kept the 3d assets in order to easily re-render the backgrounds in FF7 and 9 the world would be a much better place, instead we have super stretched blurry backgrounds and an FF7 remake that will come out 2 generations from now with game-play that doesn’t resemble FF7 at all.
They probably want the games to look decent on their current HDTVs.
The pixellation looks really weird when the camera moves slowly in the battle scenes, all jumpy, it looks like the bad texture “filtering” in the PS1.
hmmm azucar de verdad
Where’s the Kotaku post about these games?
