Not yet, depends on how successful the ps4pro and the xbonex turn out to be. I rather have backwards compatibility and clearly defined generations, but with the diminishing returns across console transitions, this makes sense.

Correct, but the games have to run on regular xbone so that is worrisome, both for how good the games can look when limited by the regular xbone and how bad the regular xbone versions can get crippled (Hyrule Warriors on old 3DS style).

Correct, but that’s around the increase in the New 3DS (proportionately speaking). But when a new generation comes around twice as powerful as the last one is quite pathetic (nintendo wii and wiiu level), so I wouldn’t consider it a new gen at all.

Studio Saizensen creates its fighters as 3D models for purposes of animating, then converts those animations into 2D sprites, which sounds like it’s a lot quicker than hand-animating every frame. It sounds similar to what Arc System Works has done with the most recent Guilty Geargames.

Wow so now even ports of GB and SNES games release unfinished, can’t believe you can even ship a game without a digital manual, it’s like releasing a physical game without actual packaging.
