I expect that Minecraft 2 will be a hybrid system comprised of the building you have in Minecarft and the social setup of something like Playstation Home. MS will control the play server and use it to both secure and market too the next generation of gamers.

Meh....we know Square can make things look pretty. I'd be more excited if they covered what the actual game mechanics are.

As I was playing the New Nintendo 3DS, I couldn't help but wish this had been the handheld Nintendo launched the platform with. It really seemed to deliver in ways that the original 3DS, a fantastic portable in its own right, does not. And that, no doubt, is the point.
