I'm not mad...just disappointed. Nintendo could have done a lot differently and I think when it comes to marketing and sales it's best to take the utilitarian approach. Nintendo needs people to support their console not ostracize it.

I've read a few times on here that people are saying it doesn't make sense for new hardware to be released, but it makes perfect sense. For Nintendo to release a new model they are going to have to clear the stock of their current model. Stores are not going to want to stock the same amount of older hardware and…
I would say Uncharted 2 or Left 4 Dead. Both have great a multiplayer.
Yeah, I agree. The 3DS hasn't really given me a reason to upgrade from my DS. I think because the 3DS was rushed, the lite version is going to have very significant upgrades, making the 3DS look dated, similar to the original DS with no backlight (what were they thinking).
I don't know what the current state of Gamestop is since I haven't lived in the states for quite some time but I do the minor annoyances that both Gamestop and Best Buy share.
Wow, I really agree with what he said. I think he has a decent grasp of what the issues are without listing all of them out. I feel that he's pointed out the one thing I couldn't put my finger on about what is wrong with Japanese game developers, their disconnect from society and lack of social skills. From the…
Only the PS3 can't play online, there is still the PSP, Wii, and Xbox. Sony is the newest company to join but not the only one. The other companies are apply the online pass to all platforms.
I don't completely agree with the decision but I do understand. I don't think this is only to fight back against used games but also piracy. This does hit a few birds with one stone. I also think that aside from the exceptions (lending to family and friends, renting) there is little to complain about.
That was amazing. Thanks for that post
I'm sorry, I didn't know this was an argument since this all started with you just saying a cable cost more than 10 dollars. My last response was for your comment "Congratulations, you would have bought a cable that doesn't work." but I can definitely elaborate.
As I stated, that was less then 2 min of Google, and no I would have never bought that cable because;
I understand what you are saying and see you point. Since I haven't been affected by DRM it doesn't bother me at all.
I didn't know about this but if you are referring to the issue with Westinghouse TVs and PS3s I would put my money on Westinghouse being at fault. I would go as far as to say that Westinghouse probably doesn't build a mid/high quality TV.
Yea I didn't notice that. I found this one from Monster. I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there.
I don't currently live in the states but I checked
I don't know if I understand what you are saying.
Don't see the big deal. There are HDMI to Component adapters for like 10 dollars. The fact that you have to buy an HDMI cable anyways seems to make arguing this pointless. You are probably spending 3 dollars more on a cable that is tailored for your situation. I would be more pissed at the fact that they are not…
The funny thing is I know people here who still use VCRs to record TV. My wife's aunt still uses a VCR and she owns a DVR.
The PSN has been up in Japan but the PSN store has yet to go live. This means everyone in Japan has not been able to join the Welcome Back Program
