I'm probably the opposite, especially in open world games. Start off fairly serious, then at about the half way mark when I'm comfortable with the mechanics I just go to town and waste a bunch of time.

That's because the mouse in question has a hell of a lot of buttons, and it's probably not very cost effective to put duplicates on the opposite side on every single mouse.

You realize that the pyramid sprites that existed in the video are in the google maps 8 bit version right? I can't believe you are complaining this much about free entertainment.

The quest button they were talking about is present in actual google maps and works. They even run a pixel filter over the street view images.

Nah, he's just a plain old warrior.

Read the article cited in this Kotaku post. Basically, it was beneficial to Bethesda to keep F:NV under an 85 metacritic. They knew their established Fallout fanbase would buy the game bugs and all, and didn't want to share. I know this sounds somewhat conspiracy theorist, but there it is.

Same on AP. The combat mechanics weren't exactly the best designed systems ever, but it was quite enjoyable to me otherwise. The time limits on the dialogue responses made the first playthrough really engaging story-wise.

I have not tried Win8 and don't really plan on it (Win7 works great, thanks), but I find it hard to take Brad seriously after how he shipped Elemental.

I only hate Activision when I find myself in the unfortunate situation of liking one of their games. If it's popular it will be soullessly iterated to kingdom come, if it's not the devs will be shut down.

Nah, it's a man named Richard Harrison. Just look at that 80s filmography.

All I'm saying is that it is their own fault that westerners perceive ninjas the way they do. There was a very concerted effort in the 80s/90s to make the concept of ninjas appealing to the west, and the people that started this movement were Japanese.

Now playing

Actually, the guy on the right is not a western creation either. I'd blame Sho Kosugi. Attached video contains your western ninjas, lol.

You play analog video games? How does that work?

Why do people still call the current generation "next-gen"? They're almost at the end of their life cycle, one of them even has a successor announced. Is the Wii U "next-next-gen"?

Yep, it's called watch it on youtube. Not much in the way of actual gameplay there.

...That's the joke.

My mom says I'm cool...

I'm predominantly a PC gamer, and do most of my purchasing digitally on that platform. That said, I hope that consoles never make the switch to all digital. Could you imagine having XBLA / Sony Marketplace as your only choice for purchasing games? Prices would be stupid high and never come down.

Find the water chip in 150 days?

Looking at the man's face in the screenshot, I think it's pretty fertile ground for one of those needless censorship jokes that adds innuendo where none was present.
