I'm an American, and honestly I don't think much has changed (and that you probably hold my ancestors in too high regard). There's always been a vocal, ignorant body of people who must denounce the "evil" of the now. This usually takes the shape of whoever is currently immigrating to America in the biggest numbers

There are four different series of four figures. They definitely could have used some better wording to describe the math they were doing, but the numbers are essentially for 1 figure, 1 series, all series.

You've pretty much made my point for me. You have your opinion, I have mine. Us bantering back and forth has done nothing to CHANGE each others' opinion once set. I've never said the man should abandon his opinion, that he shouldn't be able to voice it, or that he should never post it anywhere else ever again.

You see anyone in these comments that has said something to the effect of "You know, I didn't agree with you in the first article, but now I do"?

Kotaku, I think its fine/good that you want to publish these types of articles and get these various discussion points out there. The follow up articles, however, are wholly unnecessary. They feel like trollbait or something, like the author is intentionally trying to start one giant NO U war. Honestly, these

It does seem pretty ridiculous, doesn't it? Hey guys, we know you spent all this time on your main character and your alts, but if you make ANOTHER alt, you can have bonuses now!

I'm pretty much in the same boat to be honest, which is why I try to pick what I perceive to be the "medium" difficulty level.

Seems like most console games have difficulties like this these days:

The first sentence in the article tells you it is a behind the scenes video and not the actual thing.

I think what made the OP comment was that it did not show up in the recommended specs, not min reqs.

DirectX is not only sound, and there are quite a few graphical tricks that dx 10/11 do that 9 does not.

I don't follow your thought process. Cake is not indigenous/exclusive to the United States, nor do you need to be fat to enjoy it. Or were you implying that it is American to enjoy things?

It's illegal to carry knives of that size on your downtown stroll, not to own them and keep them in your house.

It does not surprise me, as there are also US Army paintball markers.

It is a lot easier to play a light side BH than any of the Sith classes. The choices I ran into mainly revolved around doing the right thing for light side points or staying loyal to your employer no matter what for dark side ones.

You'd think the King of Hell would command something a little more impressive than a small phalanx of goblins, eh?

I think you are misunderstanding something here. While it is true that "soldier" is a generic term for a member of an armed force in the English language, it is not used as a generic term between the armed forces of the US / DoD. Servicemember is.

I hope this game is amazing, and more importantly I hope it sells. Show the world that there is still money in TBS, Firaxis. I WANT MORE!

After remembering the multitude of horrible DRM "experiments" Capcom has been conducting lately, I'd say its pretty obvious which side of the SOPA war they're on.
