Save you a little time:

I joined reluctantly in 2006 in order to see a few friend’s/family’s photos they wanted me to see. Then I went dark for 10 years. I recently revived the account b/c I’ve been going through some really troubling times and needed to reach out, but I’m beginning to rethink this move.

A boomba

Here’s a tip: don’t ghost someone in this situation. It’s hard enough to not have clarity about what’s been happening, but never knowing what the hell went wrong is very disconcerting. Be a man, and deal with this directly. Also, everyone needs to read He’s Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt.

I mean, yeah, when we olds were young, parents let us do what we wanted, for the most part, while they drank their beers or scotches on the rocks and smoked Pall Malls. We ran around neighborhoods, went into town or to the park in groups, and didn’t interact with them much.

It’s shocking to me that at the VERY LEAST - the monsters who perpetuate these awful attitudes denigrating children and mothers (via healthcare “repeals” etc.) do not realize that every child born means more money for them! One of the biggest problems we’ve got going on in the US is the entitlement of the wealthy. They EXPECT to ALWAYS make money.

By 3rd or 4th grade, my public crush on R, the cute Jewish boy with curly light brown hair who loved baseball, became too much for him.

Thanks for all the hard work, and remember that:

I’m working on a list of the minimum “stuff” a person would need to live safely, comfortably, and be able to be productive. A decent hotel room-style dorm with a big closet, a large bathroom with a tub, and common areas that can be shared (outside of the unit) could work.

There could be a book about these experiences. Maybe Erowid has a section of them. I scribbled many intense pages while tripping at 16, but then left them at a hotel years later. Someone, somewhere, was either highly confused, amused, or intrigued...

His wife looks just like his mother. Also, chin up, jr.! I mean, err...
