Actually, yes, the games industry and creative field in general are FULL of people who have dealt with far worse criticism than Fish has taken and they have ALL handled it much better. Phil Fish has taken it further than anyone else I can think of. I remind you, the criticism that cause the meltdown wasn't even

I thought "AAA Game" was code for "High budget low concept dumbed down crap" you know, the Michael Bay of games.

You really think you've gotten one over me when you're the one who lost your shit.

I have every right to find your claims insincere and they are confirmed by you leaping at the first excuse to resort to foul insults. It's not trolling. I'm amazed I've tolerated your neurotic self-serving logic this long. I like to think I'm the better man not resorting to your cheap shots and stick directly to what

"I'm not angry."

"but in reality they're just saying that to defend themselves"

Yeaah, you aren't mad at all... aren't desperately trying to make this personal.

How does it ask you to suspend your disbelief?

I haven't stubbornly refused to change my opinion in defiance of reasons, you haven't given any that I haven't refuted.

Read it again? Read it for the first time, more like. You practically rewrote the whole thing. It's a whole new comment bar two sentence fragments.

Do not mistake an unequivocal comment for any angry one.

"I say if the controls were realistic, you wouldn't have to spin in place to turn around rather than just moving."

No I mean I've deal with pressure and a tirade of criticism and personal attacks before, both on the internet and far more importantly in person.

"have you ever had as much pressure on you from such a massive group of people on the internet?"

Yeah but I just realised on the sign it says 2001... that the year Dreamcast went OUT of production.

Internationally. It actually was available in Japan in 1998.

Or a job offer.

"You show me a police force or military with a procedure for dealing with the undead, and I'll call you a goddamn liar."

I knew from a long way off Titanfall wouldn't have the staying power, it didn't iterate on the idea of little guys vs huge robots enough. Such opportunity for unusual means of taking out Titans and it's pretty much the same as fighting anyone else.

People have said far worse about me for me doing far less-worse things than him and I didn't quit my job and screw over all my co-workers. And I know I'm not alone.
