You know what was highest selling console before PS2? PS1. Playstation should be going from strength to strength. PS2 selling so well is no reason for PS3 to not follow with equivalent sales, the market should be growing, not contracting.

But PSV is tanking (sales as low now as year before PSP cancelled production), and PS3 is dropping off sharper than PS2 dropped off into the new gen of that. PS4 can't compensate for all that. Look at year-on-year sales of those, far FAR lower and PS4 cannot compensate for that. It's not just Wii.
