Yeah, things were good when I was there, about 2000-2004-ish, maybe 2005, but that was just before the economic collapse. Do you actually live in the South? I've lived all of over the world, but I was born in the South, for the most part grew up here and moved back here (for work) about 10 years ago. I can assure you it is not hyperbole. It is casual and damn near omnipresent.
