This. It was always a better single-player game than it was an MMO.

Mythic Adventures actually does a good job of bringing martial-types closer to par. It's still not a level-playing field, and of course these options do make casters stronger too — but martials get the biggest boost from the mythic content.

Well, I wound up working in print journalism and still have pretty much the same hours. But the pay is a little better and nobody has ever, ever come into the newsroom and asked me for "Trois 2: Pandora's Box."
