I see where you’re coming from, but it depends. It should hopefully give an edge to a candidate they feel gives them a better shot at expanded rights and representation, considering the endorsement of the final DNC candidate is a foregone conclusion. 

I remember my dad speaking about how his union was “being infiltrated by Republicans who want to kill it.” This was in early 90's, though I imagine - if this is a true fact - that it began no long after Reagan fired the air traffic controllers. 

Honestly this is the time for ambition and forward thinking. To “poo poo” the notion of radical change at this point is ridiculous. That being said, sanders plan should not be taken as exact. I imagine that it will need some tweaking, but it could definitely needs to implemented in some form or fashion.
