It was vile and shitty then. I was on Obama’s primary team back then as well. We knew what it was and when we saw it again in 2016, we begged sanders people to stop. But they didn’t.

I think if sanders and his fans actually acknowledged the issues they have with PoC voters instead of just saying statements that sound a lot like “it’s good for you so deal with it,” I think it would garner them a lot more good will.

Compared to literally anything written about sanders, it is tantamount to one.
