I rarely peel potatoes for anything. I can think of hardly anything potato based that is made better by removing the skins...even mashed. The skin is my favorite part.

Yes...they were way ahead on GIFs...let's go with that. I still am a little unclear on why GIF's are making such a comeback that they are even the word of the year.

The only thing that threw me was when they said "ocean floor" to explore. Which to me means they included the entire explorable ocean floor in their calculations, but there probably isn't much to actually see.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the touch keyboard icon (toolbar) on the taskbar? I go in to taskbar properties and uncheck it, but it pops back up everytime I reboot. There is very little about it in google searches, but there were a few people complaining about it. No real fixes, though.

Personally...I don't have too much of a problem with gifs. I'm just mystified by their resurgence in popularity. Is the internet like fashion? Old trends will come back?

Why? I haven't used it, so I would like to hear what first hand experiences do you have that caused you to dislike it? I don't think I will like metro, but I hear there are ways around that. Other than that, doesn't it improve overall performance?

Does anyone know if the upgrade/full install trick will work with 8? Buy upgrade version, install as a regular clean install, don't register, then tell it to upgrade using the same disc and then registering.
