AUTO-BOTS, ROLL OUT!
Independence Day: Resurgence opened with about $41M domestically and about $143M total with the (less important since the studio’s cut is smaller) international receipts on a production budget (does not include advertising) of $165M. It couldn’t beat a cartoon about a fish that had already been out for a week. Movies…
On a side note, in the linked article Bob Iger, CEO of Disney is quoted as saying
Saw this in a large screen theater when first released. A perfect film for a pudknocker like me.
You know, that there’s a reason for the bad tattoos doesn’t make them any less stupid looking.
That was Spike. Ultra Magnus said “damn it.”
Well, if you didn’t like it 30 years ago, I doubt you’ll enjoy it now. It’s about 40% brutal war movie, 60% kiddy stuff. The 40% still does it for me, and I feel some of the comic relief is actually quite good, like Grimlock loving Kup’s war stories.

Did anyone else see this as a kid in the theater back in the 80 and get totally blown away aka traumatized by the first 15 minutes? Cause that was me, and I loved it.
Finally I can chuck away that Korean DVD I bought last year because the domestic releases were total BS. At least I ripped the movie, and it looks pretty nice.
Am I the only one who didn’t like Season 3 of SHIELD? The latter half of the Hive arc was a bit better, but otherwise it was badly paced and full of tacked-on drama that I never bought into. My two biggest problem were Rosalind (she was thoroughly unlikeable, so I didn’t buy Coulson getting so attached) and the…
So much this. I had relationships in high school more meaningful than the supposedly deep romance between Steve and Peggy.
I don’t see the issue. Steve and Peggy didn’t have a physical relationship. They had an attraction and flirtation. They didn’t even go out on a first date. Steve and Sharon had a flirtation and an attraction, then kissed.
You and all your anger must be a lot of fun at parties.
It’s almost like weather. one day it’s hot. next day it’s hotter. third day it may rain.
