There’s also the question of when the search for additional security ends up threatening it instead. As someone who is neither American, Russian, nor Chinese, I’d prefer it if we aren’t tipped into a global war following an arms race.

Thriller - A Cruel Picture is an early, iconic rape/revenge movie that might be worth a watch. Exploitative, though.
But how would they fire people when the giant gun’s not finished?
Yes? Absolutely. If they unfairly enforce speed limits, especially in a way that hurts women and minorities, that’s absolutely a valid point to bring up.
A comparison with Syria or Somalia isn’t doing the US any favors.
To be fair, that’s similar to a lot of other behaviours, not necessarly linked to gaming as such. Losing, either in person or by proxy, has been a cause of aggression, rage and violence for a long time if we look at football fans, or american football fans, or baseball, etc.
I was taught that downshifting in order to reduce speed is not “engine-braking” as much as “gear-braking” or “shift-braking”. Accordingly, what they (the driving instructors) call engine braking is simply, well, lifting your foot off the throttle.
Everyone makes mistakes and obviously predatory lending etc. are real issues, but, isn’t the mindset at play here a really big issue, too? When reading about the dude who needed a car and had $4000 as “down payment” and, broke as all hell, went and purchased a $20K truck.... why?
You would cast a Dane as the king of Sweden? Heresy.
Obviously, Chloe “Grace” Moretz is a descriptor, not a name.
the fact that you have to put in a bunch of hours into a game that you’ve bought just to keep going without having to pay AGAIN; sounds amazingly weird to me.
This is the best movie that’s ever been made.
Yeah, as if Belgium hadn’t done the exact same thing if they led 1-0
Well, simple: Eject both teams from whatever contest they’re qualifying for.
Is there a source on the naming? Väder means “weather” in Swedish, but I suppose they could just be toying with extraneous umlauts
Excellent reply, 10/10
“And we aren’t mad because Disney made a bad movie. We’re just not going to any more of their bad movies.” they said, angrily
Should have been 2-0 Sweden i the first half. That was a penalty. God-fucking-damn.
Yeah, not arguing. Juts pointing out/reinforcing that you can’t magic up talented and experienced teams and processes, regardless of how many trucksfuls of money you dump.
If they fall to competition, they won’t be the first pioneer to get out-muscled by more seasoned competitors
Looking at Wikipedia, PUBG seems to have been released about a year ago. If so, demanding that a studio should scale up from humble beginnings to triple-A production in 15 months is ridiculous imo, regardless of how much money they’re making.
