One issue with protective gear, helmets, and pads are that you are more protected, but others are going to hit you harder, because you’re protected, thus possibly leading to more, and more severe, injuries especially in the long term.

I think much of the discrepancy comes from expectations, and what values are used to measure the qualities. In a lot of ways, I’ll readily agree that it was a less-than-stelarly-written film.

Ö is pronounced pretty much identically to the “u” in “burn”, however. Börn would only be slightly, slightly off pronounciation-wise, and is usually spelled as “oe” in, say, systems where “ö” is unavailable.

Perhaps I’m mistaken, perhaps it’s different in an international context, but in Sweden IKEA only uses swedish letters, even if a name shjould be sourced from Norway or Denmark.

If that’s true, we have different names for things. Common bookcases here are Billy, Hemnes and Liatorp, for instance.

But as mentioned in other places, in Sweden they’re all written with Swedish characters, regardless of the origin of the name. Perhaps that’s different in an international context, though!

Not sure if I agree completely. In my experience, you’re more likely to get “Wud” from a norwegian, and likelier to get “wod” from someone swedish. Can’t say I’ve ever encountered tacking on r-sounds like that.

Hey, I’ve seen a few of these. Tremors, RHPS, Donnie Darko, Monty Python and Night of the Living Dead. Like tremors, RHPS and monty python. Night of the living dead is nice, but hasn’t aged very well. Few zombie movies have. Donnie Darko is overrated.
