Chance of your sonic going fast enough for you to notice? Not good...

No, I can't afford a veyron. As a counterpoint, I will say that If I had the money to blow on cars that expensive and didn't give 2 shits about it, I still wouldn't have a veyron. I'd much rather have a purpose built car for every occasion. A radical for the track, a blown big block for the strip, and probably a

Bugatti - Take it to the strip and risk crashing it, breaking something, someone else getting into your lane, looking like a tool who doesn't know how to drive, etc. Most likely fail.

Most automatics that go to the strip require only this:

My launch control system involves a pedal under my left foot, two pedals under my right, and a stick in my right hand.

GM, Porsche, BMW, and Dodge are probably the only mainstream manufacturers of high end sports cars that still put manual transmissions in their cars (that I can think of atm). Keep it alive guys!!!

Every driveshaft has a critical speed. A lighter/larger diameter/shorter driveshaft has a much higher critical speed, but no driveshaft is immune to breaking from vibration when its critical speed is reached.

I doen't get it, whats the 8 point to this thread?

I know, I have one sitting in my garage with a teminator rotating assembly that I'm trying to get rid of. If it was iron block that motor would probably snap my cheap engine stand in half.

Old junkyard truck 5.3s can push over 900 hp on the stock bottom end. They are the motors of choice for people who want to go fast at the strip with a cheap motor, because if they blow it up it is only $150 or so to go pick another one up.

Xcode is the mac/ios IDE. It is garbage too, as is objective-C.

Saw this in an earlier post. The only thint that would make this better is a round glass top instead of the square one. Also, this would be an awesome lazy susan on top of a larger engine block dinner table.

The lincoln blocks will be aluminum, which is prettier and much easier to move around.

So friggin cool.

That isn't an LS1. Nice looking table though!

Nevermind.

Do you know why we use drones and not regular piloted aircraft? So if they do get shot down or we lose them, it's no biggie. Better a drone than an advanced plane like the f22 or f35 and a pilot in enemy hands. Also, this one crashed at a friendly airport while trying to land. Also, its guts aren't exactly top
