Dr. Youabian,

Well, Audi did originally have the "C4 S4" in the early-mid 90s. Guess they loved the C4 Corvette :P.

"Sure, the Audi is more sophisticated and cheaper to run."

"Cutting off a transmissions for a certain market. I don't see any significant cost savings and I doubt the cars are that different."

What other current cars would you consider good value for the money?

"If you plan on doing a burnout contest...buy a line lock before hand..."

I cannot argue too much there, I first learned to drive in my family's diesel Excursion; figured if i learn to drive that, i can drive almost anything else. they still have that excursion with more than 200K miles (i lost count after 200K). ~9 years later, i came across my current excursion and bought it for ~$6-7K

The Flail Tank would be pretty useful in city traffic! Or the Radar Truck would be good for determining traffic ahead of time!

Oh definitely, its you vs the mountain! Maybe we can convince Porsche to field a car for next year and have you at the helm. Im thinking a 918 Hill Climb Special is in order for this!

Patrick, have you ever considered or wanted to try any hill climb racing events, such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this Sunday? And If so, what class and car would you want to compete in?

Ed, have you considered fielding a car and/or participating in any hill climb racing events, such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this Sunday?

Ryan, have you ever considered or want to try hill climb racing, like the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb that is happening this Sunday?

You seem to dwell on the displacement (2.0L vs 2.5L) quite a bit there. IIRC, the EJ 2.0L JDM STi has similar, maybe more, power than the EJ 2.5L USDM STi. Someone please chime in if I am wrong.

Definitely a problem...

If memory serves, I believe they only made around 1000 C4 Grand Sports. The LT4 engine was bumped up in power over the LT1. I used to have a'94 C4 LT1, which I believe was rated stock for 300 HP / 330-340 ft-lbs. The LT4 had some moderate modifications that Cheby rated it to 330HP; some have claimed it actually had

Some sucker will buy it...

This is my favorite Ferrari:

Guess it depends on what you consider crappy economy.

Although I wouldn't call it my favorite, I think the Ford Lightning (Both models) should get some lovin too!

I would say it's a respectable and competitive price. I test drove one (base model 6mt) of these around city and highways conditions. The car did "feel" heavy and sluggish (softer modern day suspensions maybe?), wasn't a fan of trying to figure out how to properly turn off traction control;chime in if this can be
