I know it’s just for a joke, but that sloppy, pathetic little slalom that made up the “handling test” was indeed painful to watch!

Giant Bomb did Quick Looks of the 3 phone games that had Super Bowl ads. Game of War was one of them. Seek that out.
I agree, the value for lunchboxes is not there since they can have absolute crap in them. Bought lunchboxes should be guaranteed to have uniques. However, it’s “sane” because I had spent enough time enjoying the game to justify sending a measily $5 Bethesda’s way. I bought the lunchboxes only because I treated it as…
I’ve gotten several of the non-unique high level dwellers that typically come with rarer (but similarly non-unique) equipment from lunchboxes, but they don’t help much towards filling out the collection. The gear you get with them can be found in the wasteland once your explorers are high enough level. The unique NPCs…
The initial driving force of the game is increasing population to unlock building types, and that’s fun for what it is, but after you access to the last buildling (which happens at 100 dwellers), the only driving force is filling out the armor, weapon, and unique dweller collectible lists - and it sucks for that.
For me, Gundam begins and ends at 0083: Stardust Memory. Fantastic looking animation, a story that doesn’t get into psychics and other bullcrap, and with the emo teenager whining kept to a tolerable amount.
Batteries are heavy, but even with the extra battery pack, a Zero SR weighs 458lbs, so I think their construction a pretty big factor here. Probably a lot of steel involved...
Unless they moved things around in the HD version, it’s for Lulu’s ultimate weapon, not Kimahri.
I strongly suspect they’ll run into some legal trouble with this. I very much doubt that Valve, Ubisoft, or EA want a 3rd party clients interacting with their back ends. I’m sure there are lines in the terms of service for all of them regarding backwards engineering and such.
“What does it mean when a game resonates with the press but can’t find an audience?”
Achievements have absolutely nothing to do with your Steam level. Steam level is not XBox gamerscore.
Regarding “bringing back DRM”, note that Steam itself is DRM...most of the time.
I doubt it would take long for a person constantly buying and refunding gift copies to be noticed as doing something inappropriate. I’m sure they have some internal monitoring that flags an account for review after it does X number of refunds.
Petty sarcasm is always the best tool for demonstrating the superiority of one’s opinion. As demonstrated in this very comment!
I have little respect for this guy and it has nothing to do with the ME3 ending.
I (re)played through all of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games a couple years back when they all hit Steam. Funnily enough, I think Dark Forces held up better than any of them.
Headaches can also be a symptom of withdrawal from caffeine addiction (or more accurately caffeine dependence), which can occur as quickly as 12-24 hours after the last caffeine intake. I think that, at least in some cases, what people believe is a side-effect of aspartame is actually caffeine dependence and…
Maris Brood from The Force Unleashed video game.
If the intended message of the satire is “you should care about me as a person and not tune in to stare at my chest” I would hazard a guess that it’s not enough to succeed at being satire versus actually being the thing it’s supposedly satirizing (which is to say, pandering to sexual desire for hits/monetary gain) -…
I would say that if no one perceives the intended theme of your art, you failed as an artist. You don’t get to declare yourself a success.
