so many victims! Aargh so so sad.

This gif is mesmerizing. Of course any sad Eli gif is great in its own way.

Combination of intimidation and judicious selection of victims, I'm guessing. As long as he picks women who might not be believed and uses a combo of threats and promises, he can get away with stuff for a long time, and as long as media doesn't take it seriously, it's no problem.

As a survivor, I am cool with any joke where the rapist is the butt of the joke- or perhaps society's attitude toward rape or whatever- but never the victim. That shit ain't cool.

"have a taste of this. It will do you good in so many ways...Now you don't want to upset me and the plans for your future, do you?"

This sounds like fake, movie-villan bad dialogue that some clueless fool made up because they don't know any better. Until you get assaulted by someone who talks exactly that way. It's

Is it weird that a mow have a running list of celebs i kind of like hoping they're not secretly horrible people? Last night I dreamed I was at dinner with Steve Martin and I said, "Please don't turn out to be a serial rapist."

I've never known a Notre Damer who doesn't reek of insecurity about their school. Seriously, they can't go 5 minutes without pathologically having to tell you how good of a school it is. I happen to agree, it's a great school. I'd have to say it's in the top 20 safety schools you go to if you can't get into an Ivy.

Who the hell is Bill Rickles?

False equivalency alert! Honorary degrees are quite apart from earned degrees. This ends our False Equivalency Alert.

Cosby then proceeded to talk to the entire athletic department about the best ways one goes about covering up rape charges. Advice that proved to be quite useful several years later.

Maybe Brown misunderstood what they meant by "Graduation Bash".

I'm waiting for Ghomeshi to happen, myself.

I'm dreading the Cosby one, and the Stephen Collins one. And the gamer gate one... ugh.

Does it have to be a high-carb last name?

I love SVU because at least most of the time the rapists/murders get what they deserve and the detectives actually care about the survivors.

Matt Maize.

I have a love/hate/oh it's on again I guess I'll watch this episode..oh he crazy...and five hours later I have watched a marathon relationship with SVU

This is why I love SVU. Sometimes it's nice to enter a fantasy world in which rape kits are actually tested, detectives actually care about and believe the victims, and rapists are actually taken to court and sent to prison.

Quinten Quinoa?

I'm really waiting to see how they handle the Cosby accusations as I continue my love/hate relationship with SVU.
