She’s under the space allotted to her mother’s feet. Jesus this isn’t rocket science. Her feet will have a hard time getting underneath her mom’s seat because of the metal bar that runs across it.

I think you’re having trouble picturing how this goes down. Her kid is laying where you like your feet to be. Which is not a problem because you both have that designated space on the plane to do with what you will.

They are, there’s a bar across the bottom of the seat to keep you from using the space under your own seat (and to keep everyone’s belongings from rolling forward and away).

The bonus of the bulkhead seat of course is that you have a little extra leg room.
