Is it really fair to call someone a sniveling adulterer when their spouse has over a half dozen affairs of their own, including married men? People need to get off this Diana victimization/Charles demonization kick already.
Um, Gina Torres, our one true goddess is on Suits?!! She’s right there in the picture!
Kafka left instructions for all his works to be burned and they were published anyway. There’s a long precedent for considering the interests of the living over the desires of the dead when it comes to this kind of thing.
Or watch Hitler’s Circle of Evil on Netflix and see just how much of an incompetent joke the Nazi’s were and how they managed to gain power from luck alone. They were laughed at and mocked as losers just like the alt-right are today. Hitler was even tolerant of Jews and gays until he needed to use them as scapegoats…
I visited the Anne Frank house right before the election and it was pretty sobering. At the end of the tour there’s a video interviewing people who survived the Holocaust and I remember one person saying how no one thought it would happen then and no one thinks it can happen again, but it can.
She never planned on any of it being published. Her father, Otto Frank, the family’s only survivor edited it and had it published after the war. Presumably, either Anne covered those pages lest her parents or the Van Pels (particularly Peter) would peek, or Otto covered them to excise that material from the published…
He isn’t necessarily trying to goad Trump into tweeting, he is trying to goad him into making mistakes and he has. He hired the shit show that is Giuliani to clean up this mess and they made it worse. He had Cohen say several things in the beginning that totally fucked up his case. He doesn’t need to tweet, it’s more…
No wonder Meghan knows her way around royalty. Her dad is a fucking drama queen.
People hyped up Juno’s lightheartedness, too. I heard so many people on the radio enthusiastically calling it, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Out for girls!”. NO. I don’t care how witty the movie was, getting pregnant and giving your baby up for adoption is not anywhere close to the same thing as skipping a day of school.…
The problem seems to be how not to give away the plot twist/point of the movie. And honestly a LOT of people should be hit in the face with it to make them understand how brutal and unending baby care and mental health can be.
I described this as a Juno-esque comedy when I sold it to my mom for Mother’s Day. It was... not that. We both liked it, but it was much more somber and unsettling than I was expecting.
I’ve thought about this a bit, and I went back to the above review. I think I have the perfect solution. You REALLY need to give audiences a clue about your movie, not bait and switch them. When you bait and switch an audience even IF they like the movie or WOULD otherwise like the movie, they are going to be pissed…
Lawyer speak. They think we don’t pick up on it. As you just proved and as I have on other occasions: We do. They’re not as clever as they think they are. Women can read. With the world being what it is, we are also very well-versed in reading between the li(n)es.
Yup. This is America. Ignorant, self-involved, and oblivious.
That ignorant bitch Nicole Arbour is the actual woooooorst. I was done with her when she posted that “Dear Fat People” video. She *would* do something like this to art.
