C'mon, no one played Band Hero.

Nothing is as bad as Nickelback.
I can't really say I'm surprised. I think demos are the last thing that companies hadn't monetized.
I don't doubt that it is. Not my point, though.
The problem is getting developers and publishers to admit that their game isn't worth $60. How many of them think the same way as Howard, "sure, game prices should be lower - just not my game!"?
When she tries to leave, stay away from the car.
UPDATE: Thank you to Reddit for informing me that you DO NOT NEED HL2 to play this game on PC, only the Source SDK Base 2007
I haven't played Dino D-Day, but god-damn it looks awesome.
I commend you on your priorities. I just babysit my brother's kids and almost never have three hours uninterrupted. I think I'd go crazy if I didn't get to send them away at night.
Damn it! Thanks for letting me know.
I haven't been able to get past the first arena in Underdome. I made it to the last round or wave or whatever it's called and died. I was too frustrated to try again. Probably after I've gotten all the other achievements I'll be more willing to gut it out. I'm sure being a higher level will help too.
I like signing up to be a beta tester because there's sometimes a reward for doing so. Many years ago a received a webcam for testing MSN Messenger and I recently received Halo Reach for testing the 360 update. At minimum, I get to try out something before most other people, which makes me feel cool.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of Underdome either. I should have listened to all the reviews that said it was only for co-op payers, but a lot of reviews said that about the main game too and were completely wrong.
I did grind early on. I really had to since I play solo and kind of suck at FPSs. And that's the main reason RPGs are my favorite genre, I can eventually win through patience. It drives me nuts to be playing through a game and reach a point that I just cannot get past. I loved both Red Faction: Guerrilla and…
The problem I have is that most RPGs now still have the grinding thing, but with real-time combat, which I do not enjoy.
I got hooked on JRPGs by Dragon Warrior because I loved the way grinding worked in that game. I had no problem "wasting" hours to build up my character, because I really enjoyed the turn-based combat. I really miss that style of gameplay.
I'd like to be able to organize my inventory. Specifically, I'd like to have a place to put loot that I'm only carrying to sell. It'd be nice to be able to compare multiple weapons at the same time too.
I feel the need to present a dissenting opinion to all those asking for the sequel to be less repetitive. It's ok that you don't like level-grinding-dungeon-crawling-loot-whoring kind of games, there are hundreds, probably thousands, of games that don't include any of these things. So, please, play one of those…
I played through it solo and thought it was awesome. I'd say that anyone complaining it had no story obviously didn't play the game or is stupid. But anyone who thinks it's repetitive just doesn't like level-grinding and looting, which is fine.
