Focusing on the narrative instead of gameplay is regression in my book (Which is were gaming is right now). A lot of people who want that narrative focus feel like outsiders in gaming to me. Like they're only playing because they can connect with it has if it's was a book or movie.

I enjoy the fact it is difficult to obtain rare items. It makes them..... well, rare. Gamers these days want instant satisfaction without working for it.
