The first game was pretty much retconned out of existence. All the Neptunia games are self-contained for the most part. Mk2 is a different universe altogether, and Victory is a direct sequel taking place (at least in the beginning) of the Mk2-verse.

Skip the first one. If you've played Trinity Universe, it's pretty much that in terms of gameplay. Even if you want to experience it, as an avid Neptunia fan, I can say that alot of people, even within the fanbase hate the first game because of it's tediousness. Mk2 and V, however are WORLDS better.

Waiting for the localization announcement for Rebirth. This game alone will be worth owning a Vita for.

I really enjoyed this show and love the games. Glad to see it getting more press. The games (Especially V) are absolutely hilarious and I always encourage more gamers with an open mind to give them a shot.

After seeing what this "new" IW could do with MW3.... I'm staying far away from Ghosts.
