this. It's not even close. You can like older series, naturally. But the art has only gone up since then. The only point that alot of elitist anime fans get right is the eyes, which I agree a little too big nowadays, aside from that though, the art isn't even on the same level.

How so? Their most strenuous activity is walking around the course. Hitting the ball with power and technique certainly takes skill, but so does gaming. Doing either one doesn't make you an athlete though.

yeah, but that's exactly my point. Being fit doesn't necessarily mean you're an "athlete". I used to do Golf camp every summer when I was a kid and did tournaments where we basically did what the pros do, 4 days on a par 3/par 4 course.
