Your math sucks.

The question is: Wasn't relying on big SUVs for profits at a time when you're otherwise struggling sort of an "Old GM" kind of experience? I don't begrudge GM for making a profit where there is one, and I think it's fair to say that this newer model manages to have more features and be more efficient at the same time.

The GM fullsize SUVs make you assume GM are idiots? When they've basically pushed everyone out of a highly profitable segment?

Couple of qualifying points here: Ayrton Senna didn't win all of his races. The best roster is baseball often does not win the World Series. The (some would say, so please no flames) best general of the US Civil War came out second best. Sometimes, a CEO's influence is decisive, sometimes it's "just" a major

Jurgen Schrempp, and Diamler over Chrysler.

Uh one of the most obvious choices and no one has mentioned him:

But the joke wasn't at the expense of the victims. It was a self-depricating joke about her living conditions. Her living conditions were so terrible, that they were like those of the victims. You can say it wasn't funny, but to say that her attempt at a joke trivializes the plight of the victims is just stupid. The

See, that's where you are wrong. Someone at GM noticed that the key switch could be bumped out of run back in 2004. However, it wasn't considered a serious problem because the driver could still steer and use the brakes, and normally the airbags would still deploy if an accident did occur. It wasn't until 2007 that

My biggest problem with some of the more vocal atheists these days is the focus on religion being this horrible thing. I am not a fan of religion, but there are plenty of us people who believe in a higher power who aren't members of any church, don't push our beliefs on people and agree with the concept of evolution.

Nice mustache.

What was down? Well, all of Cadillac was off by 6.3 percent, and the ATS was down by 17 percent. But other than that, good news out of a bad March.

Ignoring the first paragraph, that Fight Club reference is so, so overused in these situations, way oversimplified, and simply wrong. That scene was entirely Chuck Palahniuk doing a "look how smart I am I know about the Pinto and I'm a manly-man guy who knows about car parts!!!111one!!" or at least him poking fun

Haters be hating.

Great video, very tongue in cheek. It's obvious how many of you don't know how to have any fun! lmao

The overly complicated bureaucracy, constant leadership changes in the later part of the decade and eventual bankruptcy caused this problem to fall through the cracks of old GM and get stuck in some subcommittee that never accomplished anything. The way Mary Barra is handling the situation now though is proof enough

Less press? It feels like I've seen no less than one article about this every day

Had a 2004 SAAB 9-3 Aero which did the same thing. It would just shut off by itself, but it happened so rarely, and it never affected my driving significantly, that I never thought to do anything about it. Could it be related?

I'm sorry but after the new format this site sucks badly. I barely even come here now. The format is terrible on mobile and navigating the comments section is absolutely frustrating. Who ever designed this and thought it was a great idea to implement it needs to be fired. I hope none of the other Gawker sites are
